Chicken Divine: chicken, broccoli and a creamy sauce served over rice is simply divine.
There is something divine about this simple dinner dish! I love that I can boil the chicken and broccoli at the same time. Then I mix up the creamy sauce and layer the ingredients and into the oven it goes.

What makes this meal divine?
This is a meal I grew up on. Now as a mother myself, I know exactly why! It is not only easy to make, but something that everyone will eat. Every time I make chicken divine it is eaten by all and everyone goes back for seconds. We love to eat it over rice, but my husband grew up just eating it plain.
So if you’re looking for a simple change up in your weekly menu or a way to throw veggies into a dish, this is the meal for you. Not only that, this is one of those easy meals that as a parent you love when everything is gone.

Ok quick question. If I want it to be a little extra “saucy” what would you recommend? More sour cream? Some milk? or more Cream of chicken???
Good question! I love cream of chicken so I usually add more of that but milk would do it too. This last time I made it I put in more sour cream and it was delicious! Really you can’t go wrong.
Do you cook the chicken before adding it to the dish?
For this one yes! I sometimes use rotisserie chicken if I’ve been to Costco but everything is cooked before and then basically just warmed up.
What type of rice would you use with this? Do your y cook the rice separately or put it in with the dish? Thanks.😊
You can use any type of rice. I always cook it separately and then place the chicken on top. My husband grew up eating it plain, no rice. It’s up to you.
