Sweet, tangy, savory meatballs.
The ultimate appetizer.
This is an absolute favorite recipe! It is hard to find something more savory sweet than these crockpot cranberry meatballs. It is impossible to have just one. This is the absolute best appetizer out there.
I love that it is so simple to create: dump the meatballs into the crockpot, mix up sauce and cover the meatballs. Then you have the most incredible smell fill your home for the entire time it cooks. You will be making these for more than just appetizers.
Servings |
|
- 1 14 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 12 ounce jar Heinz chili sauce
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3-4 pounds pre-cooked meatballs
Ingredients
|
|
- Stir above ingredients together and pour over meatballs in crockpot.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours, until heated through.
Use it as an appetizer or make it a meal.
I love this recipe because it is easy to cook up some rice and make it a meal. Leftover dinners with a twist are some of the card tricks us moms have to have up our sleeves. Plus, Costco sells pre-cooked meatballs. I just use half a bag for this recipe.
So give them a try! Your mouth will thank you.
