Best Ever 7 Layer Dip: layers of beans, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, olives, tomatoes and green onions will literally melt in your mouth.
I know you are probably thinking how can you possible make 7 layer dip better? I have found one secret that will be the biggest game changer in your favorite appetizer. Are you ready? You heat it up!
Ingredients
- 2 cans of Refried Beans
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 c mayonnaise
- 1 c sour cream
- 2 T taco seasoning
- 2 c shredded cheese
- 1 c diced olives
- 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 c green onions, diced
Instructions
- In a 9x13 pan layer toppings.
- Spread beans along the bottom of the pan.
- Mash avocados and mix mayonnaise then spread guacamole on top of beans.
- Mix taco seasoning in sour cream and then spread over guacamole.
- Top with cheese.
- Add diced olives, tomatoes and green onions.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
- Enjoy!
I learned this trick years ago after making it for parties. I would package my leftovers in tupperware as a result it was always too hard the next day and broke my chips. So I heated it up, and I’ve never gone back. Something about the heat makes every flavor multiplied.
Of coarse you can still make it without heating it up but give it a try! I promise you will never go back.
