Cinnamon Crumb Apple Pie: savory cinnamon and sugar covered apples in a crisp crust.
Apple pies are my absolute favorite fruit filled pie! There is something so delicious about eating a warm apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream. It must have something to do with childhood memories of eating them, but I can never turn it down!
This apple pie is the perfect combination of crisp apples, cinnamon and crunchy crust. I love that it doesn’t require a top layer of crust, but I can add cut outs or that layer if desired. It is so simple to make and everyone loves it!

This recipe creates one heaping 9″ apple pie, but you can totally use the same recipe and make two less-full 8″ pies if you’d like. Quickly you’ll learn that this is the best recipe for Thanksgiving because it is so simple. Trust me, after you have a slice you won’t be able to stop. It’s a family favorite around here.
Have extra apples lying around or looking for a fun twist on a traditional pie? This is the perfect treat for you!
