Friday Favorites: Life update; Moving, baby, summer travels and much more!
In March we decided to put our condo on the market and move our family into a home. I was getting closer to my due date for baby number three and hoped to have a place to bring him home to. Fortunately, everything went with with a brief stay at my parent’s home in the interim. But we are home!
We knew there was something perfect for our family, but didn’t find it for 4 months. The second we walked into our home, we knew it was exactly where we needed to be. We felt completely at home. We are now moved in and feeling so grateful for the perfect placement of our little family into this home.
William joined our family April 20th. He came just two weeks early, but was only 5.3 pounds. With a full head of hair and dimples in his cheeks and chin, we knew he’d fit right in! He has totally filled our home with joy. His brother and sister are completely smitten and give him more than his quota of loves each day.
I spent most of my summer teaching sewing lessons to young girls. I’ve been teaching for seventeen years now and have taught thousands of girls. I love watching them catch the itch to create and see their smiles after they’ve made something new.
We spent lots of time at the zoo, aquarium, playing with family and preparing for our new home. We celebrated birthdays for the big kids too.
My husband, The Modern Dad, has been training for a marathon this year. So we spent lots of time supporting him in achieving his goal. He ran the Disneyland Double Dare: 10K and half marathon. Logically we took our entire family to cheer him on. We enjoyed a day in Disney and several others visiting close friends.
We are excited to be back into a routine and can’t wait to share more favorite meals.
