Friday Faves: To do lists and Pinterest Desserts
I love the new year! A fresh planner with built in boxes that allows me to cross things off my to do list. I love sitting down and planning my days and writing down expectations for accomplishments. Sometimes I write simple things like shower, exercise or fold laundry just to have something great to cross off. Other times I don’t have enough room for everything I have to get done. Either way, there is something fulfilling to be able to cross things off my lists.
The last two years I have bought Rifle Paper Company’s planner. There are monthly calendars and daily checklists. I may be a nerd but this is my favorite birthday gift every year! This has been my peace. I have found so much joy from making a plan and sticking with it.
Ever since I was a little girl I had “yists” and would carry them around wherever I went. I’m sure my mom was like who is this girl but I’m pretty sure I got my list making skills from her! My children are doomed because both my husband and I make them daily. So if anything my children will have an idea of how to be productive and celebrate life’s simplest tasks.
