Lovable Appetizers: creamy artichoke dip, avocado pomegranate dip, and crockpot cranberry meatballs.
In 2012, I was fortunate to spend a summer in Europe. It began with a teacher study abroad coarse in Madrid, Spain. We studied great Spanish artists, writers and toured historic sites. It was a life changing experience for me. I made some of my closest friends there and experienced life, culture and self discovery.
I never thought I was a picky eater until I got to Spain and saw some of my food options. Everything was foreign and new in a very different way. I quickly found my go to meal of tortilla Espanola, a potato omlet and worked my way into trying new things.
One thing I fell in love with were tapas. I love everything about tapas. A time to catch up with friends or family and share a small bite to eat together. Something I totally wish I did more of! Basically tapas are small portioned appetizers. You order several and share with your company.
So this week, being Thanksgiving, a time to spend with friends and family, I share with you my favorite appetizers.
