I love baking dinner and nothing makes a dinner feel more complete than a warm dinner roll. These 30 minute dinner rolls are so simple. You can make them in thirty minutes flat.
With something this simple you can add them to a meal or make them a meal! We make sandwiches with them or my kids love pizza bites. You will have the whole neighborhood coming for dinner when they smell these rolls cooking.

- 1 cup, plus 2 Tablespoons warm water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Ingredients

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In the bowl of a standing mixer, combine warm water, oil, yeast, and sugar; let rise for 5-10 minutes or until the mixture is frothy and bubbly.
- Attach mixer's dough hook and mix in salt, egg, and 2 cups of flour until combined. Add remaining flour a little at a time (dough will be sticky).
- Spray your hands with cooking spray and shape dough into 12 balls.
- After rolls are shaped, place on lightly greased cookie sheet and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Bake 10 minutes or until tops are lightly golden.
