Almond Green Bean Saute
Crisp green beans garnished with sautéed mushrooms, celery and almonds.

Ingredients
1
pound
fresh green beans
trimmed (about 4 cups)
2
tablespoons
olive oil
1
medium
stalk celery
sliced
1/4
cup
slivered almonds
10
whole
fresh mushrooms
sliced
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a medium saucepan cook beans in boiling water until crisp-tender (about 6-7 minutes).
Drain and run cold water over to stop the cooking process.
Saute celery, almonds and mushrooms in the same pan until mushrooms are tender (about 10 minutes).
Add beans, salt and pepper; toss lightly. Heat thoroughly.
