My kids are always snacking! I can make the most delicious meal and all they really want are snacks. So I have been trying new snack ideas. I found this pretzel bite recipe and had to give it a try. My kids loved it! Anything that you can dip into warm cheese has to be good.
It seriously is so simple to make. You take a refrigerated biscuit dough pack. Slice them into fourths and roll them into balls. Then you boil them in water/baking soda mix for a minute. Place them on a baking sheet, baste with egg and salt. Finally you bake them for 12 minutes. I can have it ready in 20 minutes flat and there are never any left over!

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
- Quarter each biscuit then roll each piece into a ball. Pinch to seal.
- In a medium saucepan, combine water and baking soda. Bring to boil then reduce to a simmer. Add the rolled balls and cook for 1 minute. Remove with a slotted spoon and transfer to a baking sheet, making sure the pretzels aren't touching.
- Brush beaten egg over each pretzel. Sprinkle with salt. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Meanwhile, make cheese sauce. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Stir in milk and bring to a simmer. When the milk begins to thicken, stir cheese, whisking constantly until sauce is smooth. Season to taste with salt, pepper and cayenne.
