- 1 head Romaine Lettuce
- 2 cups red leaf lettuce
- 1 fresh pear thinly sliced
- 1 apple thinly sliced
- 1 cup Craisons
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup vinegar (red or white wine)
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

- Prepare dressing first to allow it to chill. It works best in a blender or food processor. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
- Wash and cut lettuce.
- Cut apple and pear into slices.
- Add fruit, dried cranberries and walnuts to salad.
- Toss salad and add dressing.
