The Best Ever Chocolate Batter Cake: the perfectly moist, rich chocolate cake with just the perfect chocolate icing.
If you are looking for a delicious chocolaty dessert than this is the treat for you! There is no other dessert that reminds more of my grandma than this sweet cake. Literally nothing compares!

Grandma was always good about catering to the crowd. She would always frost all of it in chocolate but cover half of it with nuts. There was part of this cake for everyone. We always eat it with a scoop of ice cream and a glass of milk. I honestly cannot make chocolate batter cake without thinking of grandma and the smell of her home.
I love that I can bake this in a 9×13 or in a cookie sheet for narrower sized cake bites. It is easy to throw together but tastes like it took hours. This dessert literally will disappear in no time flat! My son calls it black cake and literally would eat it every day if I’d let him.
