Bread Sticks: The Disappearing Side: this is a favorite meal of Zuppa Toscana, 30 minute Bread sticks and Slutty Cheesecake Bars.
Isn’t is your dream as the preparer of any meal for everyone to not only enjoy it, but compliment how great it tastes? I may be silly but I want to know when you enjoy it. My son is the sweetest when he eats anything, even a peanut butter sandwich, he always says, “Oh, mom this is so yummy!” Totally makes my day and keeps me going.
Well in our family, for as long as I remember, every year on Christmas, we have gone to my grandma’s house for soup and bread sticks. The soup has always varied in types and flavors, but the bread sticks are always the same. They disappear from the tray the second they come out of the oven. No matter how many times the recipe is doubled, there are never enough bread sticks.
Being one of the older cousins, I’ve learned the art of the bread stick game. We take turns watching the oven and have someone there to snag a few bread sticks when they come out of the oven. These are a side that always disappear, whether for the extended family gatherings of over 100 or for my little family of four.
If you are looking for a meal that will disappear right off of their plates, this is it! Your family will be asking for it on a regular basis and you will have to find ways to keep the bread sticks from disappearing. This will be a recipe you add to the list of your favorite foods and will appear on your menu quite often because it is so simple to make.
So give it a try and make something that your family will not only enjoy but they will literally make disappear.
